Mosier Collective: Griffin Timothy: 2 Months

We can't believe our guy is now 2 months! We have seen such a big change in his personality and development this month and have loved watching him grow...though at times we feel like it is going too fast! Well, really...all of the time it seems to be going too fast (other than when he is crying).

At his 2 month checkup (a little late, on 2/14), Griffy weighed in at 12 lbs 13.5 oz (45%) and 24 inches long (73%). His daddy is hoping we have a future basketball player on our hands :)

What Griffy has been up to this month:

- We are now very good at social smiling - mama and daddy's favorite! We can still be somewhat serious at times and don't quite freely give away our smiles yet to many people other than mama and dad.

This was when mama was trying to convince me to take a nap 😂

- Favorite song: You are my sunshine. Mama sings it more times than she can count in a day. It generally will instantly calm Griffy if he's fussy and he smiles pretty much the whole way through.

- Favorite toys: any of our singing books, our aquarium, and our kick piano. We love listening to and watching all of them!

- He still can be quite fussy, especially in the evenings. However, it is much better than it was!

- He sleeps great at night! He will generally sleep a solid 7ish hour stretch - which mama loves! However, he still will fight naps during the day at (most) times and only sleeps well when being held by mama (don't get me wrong, I love the cuddles and that he wants me! But it does make it hard to pee some days :))

This face...how can you resist holding him?

- Some new things Griffy can do: roll to his side when on his back, coo, bat at toys, push up on forearms at tummy time fairly well and maintain for about 10-30 seconds or more depending on mood

- Griffy's favorite place to be: sitting in mom or dad's lap and playing/watching what's going on - he loves being in the center of the action! He generally likes walks too - either in the carrier or stroller. He generally falls asleep from the motion.

- He officially loves his fur sibling Ali - she is our best source of entertainment when burping or when fussy! He is pretty easy going about her getting as close as possible to us when napping or playing on the floor and trying to lick us all the time (despite mama and daddy trying to prevent it)

- He loves hanging with his mama - and can be quite a big mama's boy. Not gonna lie, this mama loves that he wants her so much.

- He generally does not like being put down or left on his own in the swing, playmat, etc. He would much rather be held. He does, however, love baths! He likes hanging out in the warm water and the snuggles afterward.
